Marker Madness
I do believe I will add to this with colored pencil. Especially since that bottom "blue" looks really purple to me and the clouds look blah. I could go over these with other marker...but I fear that may mean disaster. So I'll just cheat and use what I am more comfortable with. :P

Thunderstorms And What Not
I got my pens on Friday so I was able to start on my other piece I had been plotting out. Every once in awhile I like to do something random that usually has something to do with the weather. Since it has been thunder storming a good bit here this summer, I wanted to draw storm clouds. The graveyard is just because I had been reading "The Graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman and had the urge to draw headstones.
Awesome book, so you know.
I did work on the B-day card some and the horse is on pause till I finish the thunderstorm piece because I'm more interested in it right now. I'm debating if I want to apply color pencil on top of the marker. It's something I don't do when I do pieces like this since the whole point is the prisma markers, but I think I want to linger on this one so why not change it up a bit I guess.

New Progress
Had to ditch the birthday card for now since my pens dried up and I won't use just any type of pen. So I started this horse in the mean time to try to keep me going. I also have another drawing in plotting phase, so I'm really excited I've a few things going on right now. Hopefully this weekend I can get my pens, if not, I'll still be drawing.

Adventures At Keystone Park
I have sort of tried to start a new thing were, if the weather permits, we take the dog for a walk at the state park on the weekend. This morning was the second time we have done so, and the first time I remembered the camera, yay!
The park is based around Keystone Lake with just about everything you can imagine for a park, it's pretty awesome.
Since we were taking our four legged wonder for a walk, we hit the hiking trail...
Yeah, we didn't go on that part of the trail.
Loki did an awesome job of dragging the hubby everywhere. This was as we were coming to the end, go into the light!
I just thought this looked neat, I have a thing for dead trees.
It's a good way to get everyone out of the house for an hour or two and wear the dog out. I didn't realize how old school my camera was till I recently looked at new ones. (If taking blurry, dull pictures wasn't a clue enough.) So hopefully the next time I take pictures there, it will be with a 14 mp camera and not my 4 mp camera..

Birthday Card In the Works
This is the start of the Birthday card I am drawing for my Dad. I had to darken it in Photoshop since my pencil lines were too light to see. I have no idea what kind of paper it is, but I know I will never draw on it again. I know it's suppose to be for printing out cards, and every time I try to erase it smears the pencil everywhere. I really hope it is all covered up when I color it.
If your wondering why a rooster, his Chinese Zodiac is the rooster. His other zodiac is the Virgo and I am so not going to try to draw that. Not sure what else I'm going to add...he is going to be 66!

Cross-stitching Update
I figure it's been awhile since I posted anything about my current cross-stitching project. I think it is starting to show what it is, but I'm still not saying anything. I wonder if this one will get done by the end of the year...
I have deep purple flowers growing in front of my front porch, climbing up the railing. I want to say its morning glories but I don't thing so cause their not shaped the same. If I ever remember to before they die, I'll take a picture.
