Slow Progress

Not much really going on and without realizing it, two months have gone by. I haven't drawn a single thing in that time and have no ambition to do so either, makes me a little sad. I have been cross stitching however if a bit slow. With work picking back up and the boxes coming in doubling in size and weight, my hands and wrists are sore.

So here is my progress so far, which isn't far at all :P

This is the image that the piece is going to look like when finished:

My husband loves the anime "Bodacious Space Pirates", and this is the logo for the ship in the show. It was going to be a Christmas present but it isn't going to get finished in time so he said he could settle for Birthday :)

    tomorrow is talk like a pirate day, so perfect for that day :D

    art slumps happen, and can take awhile to pass but when it does you will pick up pencils again :) but cross stitching is still a form of art :)

    Very true that cross stitching is art, I guess I'm just worried I won't come out of this slump even though I always do.
