Seahorse Edition

So this weeks Summer of Color had me stumped at first. I could not think of anything that I liked with two oranges and a blue. I didn't want to do a dragon, and an orange and blueberry sounded silly :D

Oddly it was work that gave me this idea.

The visual display for the one brand of bathing suits had framed pictures of seahorse paintings and other ocean related goodies. I have looked at it many many times since the beginning of spring and this time it just clicked. I want to draw a seahorse! So yeah, seahorse :)

I am actually surprised I made it to the end of SOC, it was fun, I learned something, got to see a lot of neat ideas and I hope we get to do it again next year!

  2. It couldn't be a better choice for these colors. What a handsome Seahorse....the bright orange against your ocean blue background is striking. I love the little details on your seahorse too. Very nice.
